Quite simply the best festival anywhere, the fact that they managed to retain the true spirit while compromising on matters such as toilets, security and ticketing is very impressive. The mud was not too bad when you consider 150,000 people are walking on the grounds for 4 days! Highlights for me were James Brown, PJ Harvey, The Eno, Buck 65, Lamb's acoustic set, Amy Winehouse, Paul Mcartney and of course the incredible Orbital who managed to drawthe whole festival to the other stage with some of the best sound and light quality I have ever seen... will be back every year from now on tickets pending!

"There will be a lot of dramatization and metamorphosis on stage. Some very strong effects have been inspired directly by Beyoncé, and only she could make (them) happen on stage" said lead costume provider and a creative advisor Thierry Mugler.[11] The main stage is a simple stage, with a pop up set of stairs, a big LED background screen and glass risers for Knowles' band "Suga Mama" and her backup singers "The Mamas". There is also a smaller stage (The B-Stage) in the middle of the crowd where Knowles later performs.

The show starts with Knowles' silhouette appearing in the middle of the main stage singing the first verse of "Déjà Vu", the main stage is flooded in light revealing Knowles. She sings "Crazy in Love". She continues to perform "Naughty Girl", "Freakum Dress" and "Get Me Bodied".

Knowles performing "Ave Maria".Knowles later emerges atop a flight of stairs singing "Smash Into You". Later, she performs "Ave Maria", adding an excerpt from Sarah McLachlan's "Angel" and Franz Schubert's Ave Maria". She continues on to sing "Broken-Hearted Girl". At the conclusion of the song, outtakes from Knowles' "If I Were a Boy" music video are shown before she appears to perform the aforementioned song. She includes an excerpt from Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know" and Tupac Shakur's "California Love".

A video interlude directed by Melina Matsoukas is shown as excerpts from Knowles "Sweet Dreams" play in the background. This is a short introduction before Knowles performs "Diva", Beyoncé appears at the atop a flight of stairs with her backup dancers behind her. This is followed by another video interlude showing Knowles singing and dancing at the age of 5. Beyoncé then sings "Radio", "Me, Myself and I", Ego" and "Hello".

The show continues with a short medley performed by her backup singers, The Mamas, followed by another video interlude featuring a coin toss between Beyoncé and Sasha Fierce. Knowles then appears from under the stage. She is wrapped in a harness and taken up and over the audience where she performs "Baby Boy". She is then lowered to the B-Stage where she finishes the "Baby Boy" number with an excerpt from Dawn Penn's "You Don't Love Me (No, No, No)" then continues with "Irreplaceable", "Check On It" and a medley of Destiny's Child hits. She then performs "Upgrade U" and "Video Phone". This is followed by a rendition of "Say My Name" where she interacts with one member of the audience, asking that person what his or her name is and then asks that person what her name is. As the song ends she runs through the audience to the main stage. Her backup dancers dance to excerpts of Destiny's Child's songs, as well as, "Beautiful Liar".

In the penultimate section of the show, Knowles appears in the middle of the stage as she sings "At Last", "Listen" and "Scared of Lonely". This is followed by a Youtube video interlude featuring imitations of the choreography for "Single Ladies" performed by fans. Beyoncé then sings "Single Ladies" with an interlude that contains excerpts from the Isley Brothers' "Shout". For the finale, she performs "Halo". She then goes to the top of her stairs and repeatedly says 'I am', awaiting the crowd to say it back, she then says 'I am... yours' and exits the stage.

"Yesterday Once More", written by Richard Carpenter and John Bettis, is a hit song by The Carpenters from their 1973 album Now & Then. Composed in the key of E, "Yesterday Once More" preceded an "Oldies Medley" on the album, consisting of nine songs from the 1960s. At the end of the song a motorcycle engine was heard to transition into the first song of the medley: "Fun, Fun, Fun". Chicago, vaulted the band to popular status throughout the world. The song "25 or 6 to 4" was the first major hit single with Cetera singing lead vocals. Chicago is also notable for featuring Cetera's first songwriting effort, "Where Do We Go From Here?"

El MTV Unplugged de Café Tacvba fue originalmente grabado en Miami (ciudad donde operaba la señal del canal por aquel entonces) en el año 1995, pero por alguna razón el disco nunca vio la luz y quedó guardado "bajo siete llaves". Su lanzamiento oficial como álbum no se vio efectuado sino diez años después. Entre las razones que puedan explicar esto, están el hecho de que se creía que el álbum no tenía la calidad para salir a la venta y que por esto la disquera de aquel entonces, Warner Music, no llegaba a arreglos. Otros piensan que a lo mejor la disquera estaba esperando un mejor momento comercial. Según comenta el mismo Quique "era muy pronto para sacar un álbum de canciones en vivo". Sin embargo, en el año 2005, Rubén cuenta para una radio chilena que el disco "no se sacó en ese momento por una falta de acuerdo entre MTV y la disquera Warner Music". Pero a pesar de no haber sido puesto a la venta, sí fue transmitido infinidad de veces por el canal MTV Latinoamérica, cuya audiencia fue de cerca de 6 millones de espectadores en la región y que posteriormente fue exhibido por algunos otros canales. Esto último permitió que el concierto televisado cayera en manera en manos de la piratería.

Con la edición pirata del concierto y que sólo se podía encontrar en México; lamentablemente, también ocurrieron varios percances. Entre otros pequeños detalles de sonido, no se incluía el tema Una Mañana que ellos habían venido tocando (y que tampoco fue exhibido en el show de televisión) y que al siguiente año seria rechazado de Avalancha De Éxitos pero incluido en Un Tributo por lo que la versión oficial del Unplugged contenía, entre otros, este gran extra.

Al igual que Un Viaje este álbum fue lanzado en varias versiones incluyendo un DVD donde venia el extra de entrevistas a los invitados y otros involucrados en aquel evento, un producto de nostalgia para quienes lo vimos en su tiempo y anhelabamos una versión oficial con mejor calidad de audio y el orden original.

The Grammy nominated and platinum-selling artists, Jonas Brothers, today announced all new dates and cities for the European leg of the upcoming “The Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009.” The tour, which will take the band to three continents, will feature new music from the Monday 15 June release of Lines, Vines And Trying Times, their upcoming album on Hollywood Records/Universal Music. “The Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009” will stop in Europe for three dates in June and then return for a full continental tour in November this year.

The Jonas Brothers will first preview their new album for European fans at three sold-out performances on Saturday 13 June (Madrid, Spain), Sunday 14 June (Paris, France) and Monday 15 June (London, England). Their London show, which sold out in just 24 hours, will be held at Wembley Arena. Jonas Brothers will return to Europe on Tuesday 3 November to kick off the European leg of their tour in Milan, Italy at the Milan Forum. The tour will take the band through Italy, Switzerland, Spain, The Netherlands, Belgium and France in addition to previously announced dates in the United Kingdom. “This will be our first headlining tour of Europe and we’re going to bring everything we’ve got to our fans there who have helped us make it happen,” says Joe Jonas. “We’ll be playing new music, along with our fan favorites, and are going to give our fans in Europe a concert they won’t forget.”

In North America, the band has sold a staggering 850,000 tickets to their 52-date tour across the United States and Canada where they will play multiple sold-out shows in the New York and Los Angeles areas as well as in Chicago and Philadelphia. The tour also has sold-out shows in Atlanta, Houston, New Orleans, Washington DC, Pittsburgh and Edmonton Alberta.

In Latin America, the Jonas Brothers sold out their first of two shows at Peru’s Estadio Nacional just two days after the 19 May show went on sale – setting an all-time sales record in the country. In Chile, the concert was moved to a larger venue to meet continued demand for tickets. The tour will also take the band to Mexico, Argentina and Brazil.

"No es necesario cambiar de nacionalidad", aseguró Natalia. "Nos sentimos de acá y eso es lo más importante, nuestro corazón ya es mexicano".

Y es que México es un país que se ha caracterizado por sacar a la luz pública a bandas tanto nacionales como internacionales y La 5ta. Estación no fue la excepción. "México nos ha permitido llegar a países que jamás imaginamos, tales como Estados Unidos y Argentina, lugares que estando en España jamás hubiéramos imaginado estar", comentó Pablo en conferencia de prensa.

Empero, cabe preguntar: ¿Dónde queda el público de España?

"No lo sabemos, la banda como tal no es ubicada, pero las canciones sí lo son", agregó Pablo, el guitarrista y bajista de la agrupación. "De hecho, nuestro público en España son gente mayor de 25 años".

Sin embargo, esta situación no los entristece. Al contrario, los impulsa a seguir trabajando para alcanzar un reconocimiento en Europa, como lo han venido haciendo con sus compatriotas de La Oreja de Van Gogh, Hombres G incluso Alejando Sanz -de hecho, éste último ha pedido a la banda abrir sus conciertos.

Una entrega en acústico es lo que la banda ofrece a todos sus seguidores, a través de la cual podremos escuchar los ya clásicos como Daría, Algo más, Perdición, Niña, El sol no regresa.

"El CD incluirá un videoclip que relata la historia de su llegada a México", comentaron.

Asimismo, los integrantes aseguraron que la fama no la sienten. Sin embargo, "tener mucho trabajo es lo que nos hace feliz". El trabajo traduce en las más de 180 mil copias vendidas en México y 110 mil en Estados Unidos, lo cual los coloca en el séptimo lugar de ventas a nivel internacional.

El éxito de la banda se verá reforzado por sus próximas presentaciones en Latinoamérica, donde ya se contemplan escalas en Chile, Puerto Rico, Estados Unidos, Colombia, Perú y México.

En el año 2005 salieron dos discos de Mägo de Oz. El primero fue Madrid Las Ventas, disco grabado en directo en la plaza de toros madrileña de Las Ventas; fue un disco con mucha polémica ya que lo publicó Locomotive Music sin tener en cuenta al grupo, que ya había sido contratado por otra discográfica. Dejaron 8 canciones fuera del repertorio, entre ellas Hasta que el cuerpo aguante cantada con Sherpa (ex- Barón Rojo), Mägo de Oz con el primer cantante del grupo, Alma, Satania, Jesús de Chamberí, Resacosix en Hispania con Joaquín Arellano "El Niño" en la batería, etc.

El segundo disco, puesto a la venta el 14 de noviembre de 2005, fue Gaia II - La voz dormida, editado ya con su nueva discográfica Warner Music Latina; este disco es la segunda parte de la trilogía Gaia y su primer single fue "La Posada de los Muertos". Para Gaia II entró en el grupo un nuevo bajista llamado Pedro Díaz "Peri" (ex-Ars amandi) sustituyendo a Luis Miguel Navalon. Posterior a este primer single, aparecieron las canciones Hoy toca ser feliz y el ambicioso single que el grupo tanto había esperado "Diabulus in Musica". Este último single ha sido sometido a una gran polémica por su alto contenido antirreligioso. El disco superó las 200.000 copias en España, Latinoamérica y Estados Unidos. Además en España recibieron el disco de platino de mano de Carmen Calvo, la ministra de cultura vigente en España por aquel entonces.

After more than 35 years of pioneering the genre of electronic music, the legendary German band Kraftwerk has conquered another first in their long career - a live album and what an album it is!!!
"Minimum-Maximum" is a double-CD recorded during Kraftwerk's 2004 tour and contains music from nearly every era of the group's career (except for their very early experimental period). It is essentially a greatest hits album performed live. For those who may fear that a Kraftwerk live album will sound identical to a studio release, fear not. The music performed here is full of fresh approaches and energy not apparent in their studio albums. The rhythms and sequences are heavier and have more of a punch. Also, the sound of a live audience heard over the course of the entire album adds even more excitement to the musical atmosphere. On "Dentaku", you can hear the enthusiastic Japanese crowd singing along while on "Music Non Stop", you can hear people clapping along with the song's relentless rhythm.
Indeed, all of the music on "Minimum-Maximum" is very well performed and proves that Kraftwerk is definitely an established live band and not just reclusive studio perfectionists. Besides containing great music, the CD booklet also includes several color photos of the band onstage during the concerts standing behind their workstations while images of the music's lyric content is projected on the large screens behind them.
"Minimum-Maximum" is Kraftwerk at their very best. Since they are a band who doesn't tour regularly, this double-live CD defnitely serves as the next best thing to being at one of their concerts.
